The second semester is coming to it’s end. Some busy weeks lie behind us but there are still some super cool events awaiting!

In the last weeks till summer, our committees are organizing many cool activities! Check our calander, facebook and/or instagram to be up to date on the things you can do.

On June 28th the final activity of the year will be organized. There will a symposium on biodiversity, titled: Biodiversity, conservation and restoration’. The symposium is followed by a barbecue near the Koningsberger building. Hope to see you there!

Christmas is coming!

It is the last week before the holidays! December was a busy month, with a lot of activities. Making a shoe for Sinterklaas, a Christmas-PUT, and the gamenight in The Joker were all big successes. Also, the LOBS NCBS in Arnhem was very nice. The price for best bachelor thesis went to an UBV’er, which we are very proud of!

Also at the UBV-room it was very busy this month. There was a nice drink with “oliebollen”, a sustainable documentary and a Christmas-crafting-day. All very nice activities where we had a lot of fun. During the Christmas break, a group of UBV’ers will head to Risoul, where they will have a great week with a lot of skiing and snowboarding.

During the holidays, the UBV-room will be closed. From 23th of December till the 7th of January the board will take a little break. Monday 8th January we will open our doors again.

Have a nice holiday!

The 104th board.

Cosiness in prospect

Dear All,

The 103rd Board has found her way and runs at full speed. After almost two months of having been present daily on the UBV room, the UBV members are getting used to us. Lately there have been many successful activities, including the living room concerts where the audience rides from cozy room to cozy room to enjoy several musically performances.

The UBV room has been a busy location when it comes to activities, so the Creacie has been quite busy with different crafts afternoons, at which biologists could make Christmas lights and pixel art. The exam meal and Friday afternoon drinks took place in the most cozy room at the Uithof. In the future, we also have a lot of fun activities such as the “oliebollen” borrel, where you can talk about each other’s Christmas sweaters while enjoying hot drinks and donuts.

All this coziness gives us a lot of energy, we find that the interaction between the members and the board has a positive effect on student life of us all. The next two weeks the UBV also take a small vacation, so December 24 till January 8 we are closed. Monday, January 9, the doors will open for you and the coffee and tea will be ready!

We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Love,

The 103rd Board
